Dr. Asghar Bayat, Advisor to the Minister of Science and Head of the Security Center of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, visited Lorestan University, holding a specialized meeting with the Board of Trustees and inspecting some of the university's dormitories and central student cafeteria.

According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, in line with the emphasis of the Minister of Science, Research and Technology on visits by senior deputies and managers of the ministry to centers and universities in the provinces of the country, on the morning of Saturday, October 17, 2026, Dr. Asghar Bayat, Advisor to the Minister and Head of the Security Center of the Ministry of Science, visited Lorestan University.

The Dynamism of Higher Education in the Shadow of University Peace and Vibrancy

In a meeting with the Board of Trustees of Lorestan University, Dr. Asghar Bayat, while explaining the most important opportunities and challenges of the higher education system, stated: "Despite some external threats, fortunately, the universities and higher education centers of the country have commenced the new academic year in person, in an atmosphere of peace and vibrancy, which is a clear testament to the movement and dynamism of the country's scientific system."

In this meeting, while listening to the concerns, issues, and viewpoints of the university's Board of Trustees members, he presented the strategic recommendations of the Security Center of the Ministry of Science with the aim of enhancing the quality of university services.

The Head of the Security Center of the Ministry of Science, in another part of his speech, commemorated the esteemed martyrs, especially the university martyrs in the imposed wars of 12 and 40 days (Ramadan War).

Explanation of Lorestan University's Status and Field Visit to Welfare Facilities

Prior to the speech of the Advisor to the Minister of Science, Dr. Mehrdad Dadastani, President of Lorestan University, and Hojjatoleslam Dr. Majid Moaidi, Head of the Supreme Leader's Representative Office at Lorestan University, delivered speeches, explaining the general status and various dimensions of the university's current activities.

Following this program, Dr. Asghar Bayat, by visiting the central student cafeteria and some of the university's student dormitories, became directly acquainted with the method of service delivery, welfare conditions, and student issues, and emphasized the improvement and enhancement of welfare facilities.
