The President of Lorestan University Emphasizes Support for Innovations and Research Projects to Improve Green Management Indicators

Dr. Khosro Azizi, President of Lorestan University, stated in the meeting of the Green Management Steering Council of Lorestan University: "In the subject of green management, we must utilize the experiences of successful universities in this field, and we also support research and research projects related to green management."
Dr. Azizi stated in this meeting, which was held on Sunday, October 6th, at the office of the President of Lorestan University: "Saving energy resources and paying attention to the reform of consumption patterns are among the important goals of green management."
He stated: "Good measures have been taken at Lorestan University in order to strengthen and promote the indicators of green management, but these measures should be increased, and the basis should be the use of the views of university experts and researchers, which in itself is giving importance to collective wisdom."
The President of Lorestan University added: "One of the good measures that has been taken in line with green management is the diverse gardens that have been created in Lorestan University with a total area of 16 hectares, and the trees that have been planted in these gardens are of the type of trees that are compatible with the region's climate."
Dr. Khosro Azizi, stated: "We should also plan in such a way that solar energy is used in relation to electricity production."
Dr. Azizi said: "Another important infrastructural measure that has been carried out at Lorestan University is the connection of the city's drinking water network to Lorestan University, and also in previous years, we were able to convert the fuel consumed inside the university, which was diesel, to gas fuel."
He explained: "The university should be the thinking brain of a society and a model for society in every respect."
Dr. Khosro Azizi emphasized: "In the ranking system of universities, only the number of articles is not the criterion, but the variables and indicators of green management have also been added to the ranking indicators of universities."
The President of Lorestan University stated: "We welcome scientific innovations in this field; also, applied plans and researches in the field of improving green management indicators should be strengthened and expanded."
Dr. Azizi stated: "Green management and attention to the indicators of environmental protection and local and regional sustainable development is an important issue in line with the comprehensive progress of society."
