Congratulations from the President of Lorestan University on Student Day
Dec 06, 2019
Dr. Khosro Azizi, President of Lorestan University, congratulated the students on the occasion of December 7th, Student Day, in a message.
Text of the message from the President of Lorestan University:
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I congratulate all dear students and the university community on the occasion of December 7th, Student Day.
Students have always been an aware and demanding stratum in society, from the past to the present.
In 1953, students and the student movement rose up to fight against the interference of America in Iran and to confront the dependent and dictatorial Pahlavi regime.
On December 7, 1953, three students (Ghandchi, Shariat-Razavi, and Bozorgnia) lost their lives in the path of independence and freedom.
The continuation of the path of seeking independence in 1963 with the leadership of Imam Khomeini (RA) was evident and eventually led to the glorious victory of the Islamic Revolution in 1978.
Students have always had a responsible and conscious presence in various scenes of the Islamic Revolution, the Sacred Defense era, and after the Sacred Defense until now.
Undoubtedly, the diverse progress of the holy Islamic Republic system in scientific and research fields is due to the efforts of all researchers and the student community.
I hope that dear students, as in the past, will have an effective, civil, and law-abiding presence in various political and social scenes of the country and will also be more active than in the past in the scientific, research, and investigative fields for the success and scientific authority of the country.
Once again, I congratulate Student Day with the commemoration of the memory of all student martyrs to the dear students.
President of Lorestan University: Khosro Azizi
