Dr. Khosro Azizi, President of Lorestan University, stated at the ceremony commemorating the Professor of the Islamic Revolution, which was held on the occasion of the martyrdom of Dr. Mostafa Chamran and the Day of Basij Professors: "For all of us, Martyr Chamran is a complete model of commitment and expertise."
Dr. Azizi, at this ceremony, which was held on Sunday morning, June 23, in the meeting hall of Shahid Abdolrasoul Shokohi, Faculty of Literature and Economics, Lorestan University, and with the presence of Mohsen Pak Ayin, Deputy for International Affairs of the Research Institute - Cultural of the Islamic Revolution (Office for the Preservation and Publication of the Works of the Supreme Leader), explained: "Commitment and expertise are the two wings of the growth and excellence of humans and society, and the outstanding characteristics and features of Martyr Chamran are the true manifestation of commitment and expertise."
He stated: "His Eminence Imam (RA) said that the university is the origin of all developments, and accordingly, we, the university professors, should try to take effective steps in line with solving the problems of society based on attention to the challenges and needs of society and based on religious frameworks."
The President of Lorestan University stated: "We welcome the expansion of international scientific diplomacy, especially the expansion of joint cooperation with universities in Islamic countries, and in this regard, numerous memorandums of understanding have been signed between Lorestan University and universities of other countries, including Islamic countries."
Dr. Khosro Azizi added: "The mission of the university is to strive to solve the challenges and problems of society; for example, in the recent flood crisis in Lorestan province, all the university professors of Lorestan province, including researchers and scholars of Lorestan University, took good scientific actions in line with the etiology of the flood and providing solutions."
It is worth mentioning that this ceremony was held with the planning of the Basij Professors Organization of Lorestan Province and the Office of International Scientific Cooperation of Lorestan University.
