Message from the President of Lorestan University on the National Day of Combating Global Arrogance

Dr. Khosro Azizi, President of Lorestan University, has invited the university community of Lorestan University to participate extensively in the November 13th rally.

The text of the message from the President of Lorestan University is as follows:

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

November 13th of each year has been designated as the National Day of Combating Global Arrogance.

This day commemorates the martyrdom of students at the University of Tehran in 1978, the seizure of the US espionage den by students in 1979, and the exile of the great leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, Imam Khomeini (RA), to Turkey in 1964.

November 13th is a heroic and great day in our calendar, which commemorates the widespread participation of students in the sensitive scenes of defending the ideals of the Islamic Revolution.

The great Islamic nation of Iran, under the guidance of the Supreme Leader, from the first years of the 1960s when the great Islamic movement led by Imam Khomeini (RA) began until now, which marks forty years since the glorious victory of the Islamic Revolution, has offered thousands of martyrs on the path of truth and the path of Imamate and Velayat to stand on its own feet and defend independence, freedom, and religious democracy.

These are all the achievements of the 1963 movement and, following it, the great Islamic Revolution of Iran, which have been created and stabilized in our country.

Now, students are also present in the scenes of science, creativity, thought, and national production, with an effective and intelligent presence.

I, while congratulating the great Islamic nation of Iran on the occasion of the National Day of Combating Global Arrogance, invite the dear students, respected faculty members, and hardworking staff of Lorestan University to participate extensively in the glorious, enemy-breaking, and unity-creating rally of November 13th, as in previous years, so that once again, all of us, more steadfast than before, renew our covenant with the ideals of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini (RA), and the Supreme Leader (may his shadow be prolonged).
