Feb 18, 2026
The President said: If we believe in our capabilities, rely on them, and work together, we can solve all the problems and lead the country towards development and progress.
Dr. "Masoud Pezeshkian" on Wednesday evening, February 18, 2026, who has traveled to Lorestan on the occasion of the nineteenth provincial trip, in a meeting of the Educational Justice Movement with the participation of the people (hosted by Lorestan University), stating that we ourselves must build the future of the country and should not look to others for help, said: Students, teenagers, and youth are the main and real assets of the country; by properly educating them and empowering our children, we can guarantee the future of the country.
Pezeshkian, emphasizing that if we have the will, we will find the path to success, and this "path" begins with us, added: If we make promises and do not fulfill them, it will cause dissatisfaction among the people. The government's revenues are specific; if we do not know the extent of our resources and what we can do with them, we cannot have a proper direction (for development).
The President, pointing out that if people are properly educated and demonstrate their capabilities, no obstacle or problem will stand in their way, said: Many are beating the drum of despair today, but a person who has found his path builds his future, and the future is not something that is imposed on him. If we want and have the will, we will build a good future, but if we surrender to problems and are disappointed, others will make decisions for our future.
He, emphasizing that we must build a future befitting Iran, said: With the existence of vast resources and natural assets of the country, why should we be here? We should not accept the current position, and it is then that we find the path of growth and development.
Pezeshkian, referring to the selflessness and sacrifice of the people of Lorestan for the advancement of the goals of the Educational Justice Movement in this province, continued: Many of the actions that have been done here cannot be measured with money and material values; these works are worth a world.
The President emphasized: Building a school is the first step; we are trying to fully equip these schools with the participation of the people and benefactors. Of course, government resources are limited; we are also not looking to create expectations because, if they are not realized, it will lead to injustice and dissatisfaction.
He, pointing out that improving educational quality is an important goal and one of the priority programs of the fourteenth government, said: Each of our teachers can be trained and teach in a better way; if we are satisfied with the current situation, these conditions will remain, we must try to move forward, certainly, it is possible to teach better and have a greater impact with these existing facilities.
The President continued: The government will use the ability of anyone who can help, but this does not mean that "we cannot"; in this situation, we work with power, but anyone who thinks they can, come forward.
He referred to the existence of prefabricated schools and also the shortage of educational classrooms in the country in the past years and emphasized: In the fourteenth government, we decided to end this situation; governments have been promising to build schools for years, but they cannot, but when we brought benefactors, people, and, most importantly, belief and faith in being able to do it into the scene, they built and, with the help of God, we will build and equip.
Pezeshkian considered proper education more important than building and equipping school buildings and reminded: Our ultimate goal is not to build a school, but to have a space where we can properly educate and train the children of Iran so that they know, can, and believe and have faith that they must build their country, not to look to foreigners to come and destroy our country because we cannot sit together and talk.
The President, stating that why can't we, as Iranians, solve our problems ourselves and look to others across the borders? added: It is not acceptable for a genocidal regime that blindly destroys houses, schools, and hospitals and bombs the people to introduce itself as the savior of humanity.
He, stating that you educators play an important role in creating culture, behavior, and belief, said: The character of teachers changes our lives; I do not remember many of the lessons from school, including mathematics, physics, and chemistry, but the behavior and ethics of the teacher have become the queen of my mind and have changed my life. The teacher's behavior and speech are decisive in education.
Our effort is to keep the shadow of war away from the country
Pezeshkian considered the role of the teacher in exploring the mine of the students' existence important and added: If our capabilities are synergized, we will become a power that is not easily susceptible to defeat. The government is trying to provide the platform for the activity of you educators and dear benefactors; we are trying to keep the shadow of war away from the country. The intention of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution is also that this situation should not continue; it is in stability that we can grow and move forward.
The President noted: I do not make a promise that I will not act upon; we will put what we have in the dish of sincerity and try to remove the obstacles despite all the problems. You must join hands to make your country prosperous.
