The President, stating that we acknowledge the people's grievances regarding the current conditions and problems in the country and will do our utmost to address them, said: We are striving with all our might to strengthen communication with the people and believe that with the help and cooperation of the people, we can solve the problems.

Dr. "Masoud Pezeshkian," who traveled to Lorestan for a two-day visit as the destination of his nineteenth provincial trip, said on Thursday, February 19, 1404, in a meeting with political and social activists of this province: We must consider what has happened that we have distanced ourselves from the people and today a gap has been created between officials and managers and the people of society.

Pezeshkian emphasized: Responsibility and management are a trust that the people have placed upon us, we consider the people's pain as our own pain, we are ashamed of the existence of shortcomings and problems, but we will strive to solve them and address the concerns of the people, of course, with each other's help and the cooperation of the people, but we need time.

The President, stating that the government is trying to expand its communication with society by relying on neighborhood-based, mosque-based, and school-based approaches, said: It is natural that this will not happen easily, we need time to correct the processes, and this is a difficult task because a path has been taken that has led us here.

He considered the existence of a common language and perspective as the first step to solving problems and added: The country's resources are limited, and we are seeking to manage resources to solve the existing problems.

In the field of health, we do not have a problem with resources and we need to reform the management process.

The President, referring to the concerns raised regarding the situation of the health and hygiene sector of Lorestan province, stating that we do not have a problem of resource shortage to solve the problems in the health and treatment sector, but we need to reform the management process, said: We spend 1,500 trillion tomans annually in the health and treatment sector, the health and treatment budget has increased a thousand times compared to my time as minister, neither the population, nor the problems, nor inflation have increased a thousand times, but the country has increased the health and treatment budget a thousand times.

Pezeshkian, pointing out that this budget only relates to the government and insurance companies, noted: This budget must be managed, otherwise, instead of spending on human resources, the entire budget will be spent on buildings and equipment, etc.

The President, continuing, emphasizing that "mosques should be a haven and refuge for the people," stated: People should be able to raise their concerns and worries in the mosque and get help from mosques to solve their problems, we are trying to strengthen the communication between the government and the people's institutions and use these communications to provide services to the people.

Pezeshkian stated: These actions are taken based on the explicit statements of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, and he has also issued instructions in this regard. The mosque should pay attention to the concerns and worries of the people. We have grown up in the mosque, our intention and thought in the mosque has always been to serve the people and solve their problems.

The President, referring to the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, said: Ramadan is the month of self-improvement. It is an opportunity to look at ourselves once again and ask ourselves what we have done that some of the people have a problem with us? What has happened that a distance has arisen between us and the people? While our belief and conviction is to serve these very people.

The position of management and responsibility is to serve the people.

Pezeshkian noted: The position we are in today is not a position to boast, give orders, or forbid; it is a position to serve. Sometimes a person is ashamed when they cannot solve some of the people's problems. It is not that we are in comfort and the people are in hardship; such an idea is not correct.

He, emphasizing that throughout his various responsibilities, he has had no motivation other than serving the people and has not thought about personal interests, said: Responsibility is not a personal opportunity for me; it is a trust that the dear people have placed upon me.

We must do something to make our people and youth believe us.

Pezeshkian, expressing his shame for the existence of some shortcomings, said: My heart aches for the events that have happened. We must do something to eliminate these distances and make our youth believe that we want to serve the people with all our being.

The President considered solving the problems as requiring time and continued: We need an opportunity to act and reform, and that is with the help of you who are social, religious, and cultural actors. One person cannot accomplish anything alone, but if we are together, we can do great things; provided that we believe that our mission is to solve the people's problems. We will try to solve the problems as much as we can, and we hope that God will not make us ashamed in fulfilling this responsibility.

Pezeshkian added: In this trip, we heard the concerns of different groups and sections of the people of the province. In the government's approvals for the development of the province, we have tried to act fairly as much as possible. I honestly say that we have not had any deliberate lack of credibility or injustice. However, if you feel that a right has been violated or a shortcoming has occurred regarding Lorestan, please announce it so that we can review and correct it.

The President, at the end of his speech, emphasizing that we must take a different look at the problems and their solutions in this province, said: We must see differently and act differently, because despite all the difficulties, there is the possibility of change and improvement, and we will strive to achieve it with the help of God.
